Is there such a thing as too many pictures??? I tried to cut it down...
Here are the pictures from Gram's Celebration of Life.
Westminster Presbyterian Church was beautiful and intimate. The service was great, just the right balance. Thanks to Pam, Jaci, Shelley, Mark, Hollis, and Mike for speaking. You all did an amazing job...I know we were all proud of you and Gram was smiling with pride as well.
Beautiful flowers from Chad and Cody's friends Michael and Jason. Thank you!!!
Shelley and Cooper before the service. Cooper, Amy, and Olivia drove up that morning! I was so proud of how much of a grown up Coop is becoming! He was so sweet before the service and even asked if I was doing okay. I love you Cooper!
Programs and photos for everyone to take.
Chad (straightening the photos and programs... wouldn't want the pile messed up, would we, Teacher?)
Mike made a fortune as the "official purse holder"...
They were lined up waiting to get in!
Dean (kitchen manager for Veranda Park), Pam, Jocelyn Six
(Dean was holding a rose with a piece of quilting fabric attached. All the attendees from Veranda Park brought one, made by the activities director, Linda... so nice!)
Olivia and Olivia passing out programs
Noah, Mark, and Yvette
Pam and Mike
They did such a great job handing out the programs! I bet it was lovely to see the girls' beautiful smiling faces when they arrived.
Janeen and Hollis (holding up the line) :-)
We set out lots of framed pictures. What a great life!
Cooper taking it all in, including the picture that Anna had drawn for Gram.
Sue, the organist, did a great job on both the organ and piano.
Filling the sanctuary after the service. The Presbyterian women of Medford and Jacksonville provided cookies, muffins, and coffee. We didn't have to worry about a thing!
Pam's longtime friend Ros (or Roz?)
Gotta get rid of that energy somehow!
The ladies
Pat Popow and Pastor Lori Boening
Pat went to school with Gram at Phoenix High!
Lori did an amazing job with the service. It felt so personal, so Gram!
Cody needed just one more kiss!
(See? We truly celebrated!)
Beautiful arrangement from Shirlene. Thank you!!!
Pastor Lori and Shelley
The family all went to Siskiyou to see Gram off to her next journey. We brought the beautiful arrangements that were sent and put the roses from Veranda Park attendees in the vase. Notice the fabric?
Also, the pink and red arrangement on the left is from Kathi, Kevin, and family. They were perfect to go with the picture of Gram (and Gram's favorite colors!). Thank you, very nice for you to send them!
Handsome family!
Anna wanted another pic with Pop and Gram.
The legacy continues...
...and continues.
Cody, seriously?! How could you look that dapper after a 5am flight from Texas, delay in SF, and memorial service?!
(Chad, you look okay, too, I guess...) :-)
Hollis and Olivia checking out Hollis' grandparent's site
38 years strong
Enjoying their last "large and in charge" moment (for the time being)!
Love you!
Love this family!
Dinner at the Olive Garden
You think Jack is happy?
Pretty ladies
Much needed
I was so excited to see my best friend!
And yet, I kept my eyes on the prize...
The kids' table
Mike plopped down on the two seater couch and they made a "Lito-Sandwich"
*Lito is Mike's nickname
Waitress: "I only screwed up your bill three times..."
Half Boston, half Pom-Pom!
"Chief Jack say how"
Anna and Janeen taught me a magic trick (after they tortured me with it and I couldn't figure it out). I'll get the rest of you next time.....
